A Stamp For The Weekend - 27th June 2025
Recommendations and randomness from the week that was.
Coolest thing of the week: @_chopit – one of my gorgeous friends has created iconic chopping boards and I am SO lucky to be the first person in the UK to get my hands on one.

Visit: Primrose Hill. It’s touristy for a reason, it’s picturesque, has a great sunset and you can see all of London. Go for the view, but ditch the crowd and head to The Landsdown for a pizza and pint.
Food: @anglothai for a fancy treat. The food was delicious, full of unique flavour combinations. I’m often more impressed by the food in comparison to drinks, however, the wine pairings were equally on par. If you visit, I’d strongly recommend the drink pairings with the tasting menu.
Word of the week: ‘Grand’. A customer came into my work and told me his day was ‘grand,’ which feels very British and like a flex.
Hack: Make your friends come ‘try’ your local pub. It always slaps when the *walk* home is just five minutes. It helps if your local actually is good.
Drink: Aloe Vera. This is randomly one of my fave drinks, so get around it.
Notes app title: ‘I had a dream that I went back to my old work and they were really racist. Before that, I went to a random waterpark,’ – I am yet to unpack this dream.
Read: I was hooked reading Stella Fabinyi’s piece for Service95, “The Medicine Will Show You What You Need,” which is about her experience at a Psilocybin retreat in Jamaica. A weird, fascinating read!
